The Labyrinth
Nearby the main building, you can take a few minutes to wind your way through the stone LABYRINTH and spend time meditating or relaxing on the sitting rock in the center. The Classical or seven ring design is the most ancient and widespread of all labyrinth designs, dating back to at least 1200 BCE (formerly BC). Labyrinths have only one meandering path to the center, unlike mazes which have false passageways, dead ends and multiples choices of direction.
