Raven Hill Discovery Center is the only place in northern Lower Michigan where children and adults can link science, history & the arts with hands-on activities and explorations both indoors and outdoors. Connections emerge through classes, exhibits and facilities that provide opportunities for all ages to learn, create, grow and play.
Raven Hill has reopened with optional masking and social distancing. There are many opportunities to learn, create, grow and play at Raven Hill both indoors and outside. Main museum and Animal Room are hands-on. Now booking small group activities for science, history and art classes.
Currently, masking indoors is optional. We are also limiting the number of visitors indoors at the Center. Current hours are noon to 4pm on Saturdays, 2pm to 4pm on Sundays and other times, including major holidays, by appointment. Call us at 231.536.3369 or email email@example.com to make reservations or if you have questions. If we are at capacity indoors—no problem! You will be given a return time for museum and animals. While waiting to explore inside, there’s plenty to explore outdoors.

Admission is $10/person.
Everyone is a kid at Raven Hill, so rates are $10 per person for everyone, except babies under one year old, who stay in a backpack or stroller.
FREE Second Saturdays are back during the warm months of 2022--May to October. We will be open from noon to 4pm. Visitor numbers are limited indoors. Families will be given a group number and a return time, if there are too many people indoors. FREE means Families Reaching for Educational Excellence. No groups please.
Call 231.536.3369 to schedule a group visit. School field trips can be designed to meet grade level objectives. Scouts can earn badges, patches or pins during after school or weekend visits. Overnights are are great for scouts and other groups. Everyone brings their pj's and sleeping bags for a fun-filled night of museum, animal and activity time. Scout and class "Night at the Museum" events are a ton of fun.
