Raven Hill Discovery Center is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to serve as a Summer Education Instructor for our summer programs. This role supports hands-on, experiential learning opportunities for children and families, connecting science, history, and art through engaging indoor and outdoor activities.
The Education Instructor facilitates classes and informal learning experiences, encourages curiosity and inquiry, and helps create a welcoming environment where learners of all ages can explore, create, and discover.
This is a seasonal, hourly position ideal for educators, college students, and others with an interest in informal education and youth engagement.

Raven Hill Discovery Center is seeking friendly, curious, and dependable volunteers to serve as Museum Docents.
Docents play a key role in welcoming visitors and supporting hands‑on learning throughout our campus. Typical responsibilities may include: Greeting visitors and providing general front‑desk assistance, offering informal interpretation of exhibits and spaces, supervising the Animal Room and supporting safe, respectful interactions, assisting with basic collections care, exhibit upkeep, or museum projects, and supporting staff with daily operations and special programs as needed.
Docents do not need prior museum experience—training is provided. We value volunteers who enjoy learning, working with the public, and helping create a welcoming, engaging environment for visitors of all ages.
