Holly Sasso is a member of our Board of Directors.

"I live in East Jordan and have called Northern Michigan home for most of my life. My husband, Tony, and I raised our two sons, Andrew and Max, in Okemos, but spent countless weekends and summers up north. Both boys grew up exploring Raven Hill Discovery Center, where hands‑on classes and exhibits sparked their lifelong passions—Andrew as a geoscientist and Max as an artistic welder.

My career included work as a communications director for a Michigan Department of Education project, as well as earlier roles in journalism and education. Since retiring, I’ve pursued interests in yoga, travel, gardening, beekeeping, painting, and outdoor adventures.

Raven Hill has been a constant thread in my family’s life for more than three decades. As a volunteer and board member, I continue to be inspired by the Center’s ability to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection for visitors of all ages."
