We are accessible!
If you are in need of assistance, we are flexible and willing to make your visit a great experience. New sidewalks allow for easy outdoor access of the Picnic Pavilion and the bathroom located in the Fiber Studio. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, if you could use a lift, please ask a staff member for a ride in one of our golf carts. Visitors can drive their own cars to the Schoolhouse and to the Ancient World. At the pond, Dylan's Dock is accessible and allows visitors to get out over the water to see both shallow and deeper parts of the pond.

Admission$10 per person admission to hands-on museum, animals and outdoor exhibits.
Babies (under 1 year old) who STAY in strollers and backpacks are free.
Average visit is 2 to 3 hours and is appropriate for any age. Picnic table available for lunches and snacks.

Raven Hill Hours
Raven Hill is open weekdays from Saturdays from noon to 4pm and Sundays from 2pm to 4pm or by appointment. Call 231.536.3369 to make reservations to visit on weekdays and holidays.

Enjoy the hands-on museum and exotic animals indoors and then head outdoors. You can make music in the Earth Tones Music Garden; discover the geologic history of the earth along the Exploring Beyond Jurassic Park walk, play in the One Room Schoolhouse, have fun at the accessible Tree House and then head over the boardwalk to the Ancient World with its pyramid, sphinx, Roman arch, obelisk and Easter Island head. The new Connections Trail starts up behind the Schoolhouse and parallels the existing Taxonomic (Taxi) Trail. The Connections Trail features learning stations spaced out along the pathway, just waiting for visitors enjoy and explore.
NOTE: Fuller Rd is closed, while the culvert is being replaced by a bridge. Raven Hill is accessible by detour. Follow the detour signs--C-48 to Bergman Rd to Rogers Rd and to the south end of Fuller Rd.

How to get here from where you are! Driving directions to Raven Hill from US-131 at Boyne Falls, MI; M-66 at East Jordan, MI; I-75 Exit 282 at Gaylord, MI; US-31 at Traverse City, MI.
NOTE: Fuller Road is currently closed due to bridge construction. Follow the detour--C-48 to Bergman Rd to Rogers Rd and then to the south end of Fuller Road.
