Water|Ways at Raven Hill 2018
Raven Hill is one of 6 sites in Michigan for the Smithsonian Water/Ways exhibit tour. The Michigan Humanities Council will partner with Raven Hill to present the Museum on Main Street exhibit at Raven Hill from Aug 11 to Sep 23 of 2018.
Water-related programs will be presented by Raven Hill & local water, history and arts organizations during the 6-week exhibit both at Raven Hill and at other sites in the community.
Raven Hill is pleased to announce that the Michigan Humanities Council (MHC) has chosen Raven Hill Discovery Center as one of six sites for the Water/Ways statewide exhibit tour for 2018-19. The Council will partner with Raven Hill to present the Smithsonian Museum on Main Street Water/Ways exhibit at the Center from August 11 to September 23 of 2018. The community is invited to a special opening of the Water/Ways Exhibit on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 4pm and the exhibit will be open to the public through September 23, 2018. A variety of water-related programs will be presented by Raven Hill and local water, history and arts organizations over the course of the six-week exhibit both at Raven Hill and at other sites in the community. This Smithsonian Water/Ways in Michigan Exhibit is a
chance to highlight for the community-at-large the importance of northern Michigan’s water as a natural resource to be treasured, as well as water’s historical and cultural importance in this area.
