• Ongoing Power Point Presentation of Early Water Technology—Lake Charlevoix in late 1800s and early 1900s by Patrick McCleary and the Charlevoix County History Preservation Society.
• A Call for Citizen Scientists Display by National Science Foundation
Four National Science Foundation sponsored investigators are collaborating to build a super computer model using citizen data gathered on Michigan’s Boyne River. The model’s goal is to forecast high or low water events, freshwater species habitat and even fishing and boating conditions up to 7 days in advance. If successful, this modeling technique can be used throughout the world to aid in sustainable management of water resources. Visit this display and learn how easy it is for you to feed river data into a super computer.
• School of Fish Art “swimming” behind Schoolhouse—Multi media outdoor display of fish created by both new & emerging, as well as professional artists.
• Pond, rain gardens, wetlands boardwalk and Deer Creek to explore outdoors

The cost of this is included in the $10 admission charge which covers the main museum, animal room and the outdoor exhibits.
